Hi, My name is Tessa, not Theresa. I agree with virtually everything you've said, except this thing that people must be jealous if they don't like someone who is successful.

As a fellow South African, one who had the same kind of private schooling that he had, and who mixed with the same level of wealth, etc.plus at 165, my IQ is probably higher than his is, there is nothing about the man that I'm jealous of.

Of course, I am not as 'successful,' but then all I ever wanted was to get married, read books, wear pretty clothes, and go to balls. I was a great disappointment to everybody.

I have no respect for the man because I don't like the kind of things he says. When other people say those kind of things, I don't like them eiither.

I would love to know why, if one doesn't like someone who has more than one has, it is seen as jealousy.

A couple of times, I have said I don't like the writing style of one or two people on this site. I have immediately been accused of jealousy. Yet, I have achieved far more than those people have - I just don't speak about it. I very purposely keep a low profile.

I would be interested in understanding why you think if one does not admire someone or dislikes their methods, that one must be jealous of them.
