Hi Ev,
I still read 5 to 7 books a week, and I'll be 70 this year. I think I can tell you what I look for.
1. I would love to read more Indie authors, but it's difficult to know if they can actually write. Can you install a grammar check before Indie authors upload? Thanks.
2. I've had two phone batteries burn out because phones are not made the made the way ebook readers are. And the ereaders that are available do not allow me to download unless it's from a site that actually sells the books. I am limited in downloading free books from other sites. Please consider making an inexpensive ereader available that can download anything. While I have a small laptop, it is not a tablet, so it's an uncomfortable reading experience. I need to be able to recharge the reader - rather than depend on a battery which can wear out if I'm reading while it is charging.
3. I find that books that I previously offered free on the web had their DRM hacked and now I have no control over those books. Any solutions?
4. Can you have a more fair algorithm that equates the work of indie authors who are unknown with famous bestsellers. I'm a good writer, and I shouldn't have to spend my life in ongoing poverty because I have a disability and no start-up money. (Aspergers).
