Granted we used our free time to do other things, but we had a lot more free time then than now. In Ireland, for instance, my daughter works a 35 hour week and earns more than she ever did in America working a 60 hour week.

Sure, she has time after work to go on the web. So what. She also has time to go for walks, do shopping, read, etc. What's the problem?
