Good, Because I don't like stupid questions.
I am a dual German/South African currently living in Ireland. I spent 11 years in the States. I am 70 years old, read for approiximately 5 hours each day. That includes a book.
I read:
The South China Morning Post
The Guardian
Der Spiegel (Germany)
France today
Daily Mail
The Washington Post
The Times of India,
A couple of science abstracts each day - something that as caught my attention,
various magazines like Mother Jones, Psychology today, Nature, etc.
When it comes to comparing first world countries, America heads the list when it comes to brainwashing. And, yes, I could have made that distinction, and, perhaps, in view of your comment, I should have.
On the other hand, no other country in the world, routinely claims to be the best, the leader of the free world, and where every time you mention that America isn't that great, you are immediately confronted with "But we have freedom."
As if 190 other countries don't have freedom.
I don't get my news from friends, relatives, or other people either. My only source of inforamtion is books, newspapers, magazines, etc. In my second week of being in Ireland, I immediately joined the library, a habit that I developed when I was 7 years old.
So that that that is out of the way, what is your real point?
