For the record, when I first came to Medium, I offered some of my articles on writing to The Writing Cooperative. They were declined. In fact, all of them were declined. That is hilarious. Those same articles were used by professors at various universities to teach creative writing.

These publications on writing accept articles by people who know very little about writing in the real world, and what they're really doing is feeding the egos of those who are not professional writers. When one has been published for 60 years, as I have been, on three continents, have repeatedly won prizes for my writing, have been asked by Hollywood film producers to write for them, etc. the obvious conclusion is that I know how to write.

Long before I joined Medium, I had a subscription to another site which often published articles from the Writing cooperative. I eventually realized that they wrote a lot of rubbish, pandering to people who wanted to write, rather than laying out the hard truth. I blocked them.
