For me, there is no such place. I don't believe it exists. For me, it is a place of safety and comfort, a place where people can be trusted, and where systems work.

What I find is that people are, generally, petty, self-interedted, prone to jealousy, gossip, a love of power and status, and more.

Humanity is dark, with the odd sparks of light, and to find those sparks of light is difficult. There will never be enough of the kind of people who are capable of making earth a home.
