Don't bother. I seldom follow people, and if I do, it has nothing to do with wanting them to follow me. I follow people that I want to read. I don't care if they follow me back or not.

I do have a nice number of people who read just about everything I write, but it took me a while to get there. The reason people read what you write is because they like what you write.
