Don;t think it has anything to do with culture. I just get irritated with having to explain what is obvious. It also doesn't happen to worry me.

So you're saying that America is going to become a totalitarian state? I would have thought that the current Russia and the old USSR were very different indeed.

No 5 year plans. No telling parents what their children would do or removing them from their parents. No banning religion. How do you see it the same as it used to be?
