Didn't realize that writers had a steretype - not since the 40s and 50s, anyway. I guess, because I've been writing for my entire life, I know lots of writers - not that we ever talk about writing. We talk about other things - the things friends talk about.

I think I might have used the word 'prose' once for an article on poetry.

As a writer, I research every single day of my life. It's not possible to write good stuff without research. Good writing is data dense.

I don't think life has any lessons. What works for one person does not work for another person.
