Diddy, Cassie Ventura, and All That Sex!

Can anyone define normal these days?

I have some confessions to make to you before I start this story. That’s because it may cast some light on what I have to say about the shenanigans of these two high profile individuals.

Firstly, I have never heard the music of either Diddy or Cassie Ventura. Secondly, I found out that one was supposed to get excited and enjoy sex when I started reading Christine Feehan paranormal vampire novels. I had no idea. I never got sexually excited, and I regarded sex as something that men wanted, that women were called whores for, and that it was something best avoided. I also spent a long time in despair because all I wanted was a man to love me, and they never seemed interested in anything but sex. Add to that, the fact that my late father told me when I was fourteen that there was a double standard in the world, and just never to get caught. I vaguely knew he was talking about sex, but that was about it.

In addition to that, my late mother started calling me a whore (I didn’t even know what it was) when I was three or four years old. I had no idea why, except that in the Afrikaans culture, any child or women who attracts the attention of males must be a whore.
