Depending on which country I am in, things like tinned asparagus, organic tomatoes, chicken in that it is now twice the price of red meat, and fresh fruit and vegetables in general.
I've learnt to go with what there is, so I'm not paying that much attention as to what is not available when, but there is far less of a choice than there used to be.
Keep in mind that having lived on three continents and in multiple countries, I am aware that not every country has a solid importing industry, so that all foods are not available anyway. However, sometimes I can't find organic eggs.
We've just been told there will be a shortage of potatoes in a few months. All of this the result of changing weather. Apparently, all the excess rain in March ruined the potato crops.
My daughter just came home and said there was going to be a national shortage of avocadoes.
And so it goes.
