Climate scientists have arrived at the conclusion that it is too late have arrived at that conclusion precisely because it is. Mankind does not have the technology to terraform the planet. According to NASA, even if we stopped using fossil fuels right now, it would take the earth 1000 years to return to a preindustrial climate.

Probably the most dangerous aspect of climate change is unseasonal weather. That means there can be a polar vortex in the middle of summer or hurricanes where none previously existed.

Mankind, in it’s various forms, was nomadic until 12000 years ago. Why? Because there weren’t steady seasons. One could not grow food if the seasons weren’t reliable.

I am not sure what you mean about giving up. I most certainly haven’t given up. Understanding what is coming doesn’t mean one gives up. Those of us who take it seriously are just adapting. Moving to another location. Building stronger homes and communities. Reverting to mechanical means. Finding other ways of growing food, etc.
