Clearly you are not a reader. Readers want to read articles that are interesting, intelligent and worth reading. If you've never read one of those, I suggest you try National Geographic, The Atlantic, The Guardian, Mother Jones, ScientificAmerica, etc. That's the kind of thing that real writers write about, and that's what readers are looking for. They don't expect to be paid for reading. They read for pleasure. They just aren't interested in endless advice about writing and how to live their lives successfully.
