BS. Mankind were hunter gatherers until 12,000 years ago. The human body didn't just change 12,000 years ago. It's quite a few million years old.

Processed meat is bad for the human body. So is meat raised on corn (which is the norm, these days). Grass fed beef, etc. has the same ratio of omega acids as fish. I nearly gagged the first time I tasted meat in America. it doesn't taste at all like meat raised in countries where meat is raised eating grass. Also modern farm animals are given a lot of drugs, etc.

Recent studies have questioned all previous studies of the benefits of vegetarianism. Vegetarians have higher rations of mental illness and of strokes. They might not have heart disease, but the many deficiencies they develop ensure that they will eventually get ill.

Also, cholesterol is produced by the liver. If you eat cholesterol, it doesn't change into cholesterol.

Vegetarians may have lower rates of diabetes, but they still get diabetes.

QUOTE: Like meat-eaters, vegans as a whole continue to suffer from cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and COVID-19, sometimes fatally.

QUOTE: Claims that vegans live longer usually rely on studies that are part of an ongoing conversation within science, so the question of whether adopting a vegan lifestyle will extend one’s lifespan remains open. In 2017, Alex Kasprak wrote for the fact-checking site Snopes.com that the claim that vegetarians live longer than meat-eaters is unproven.

QUOTE: There is no consensus in scientific studies that vegans live longer than meat-eaters. However, studies do show that vegetarians, when compared with people who eat meat, have lower incidences of chronic diseases that are leading causes of death.

People who live in blue zones - the areas which have more centenarians than other areas - eat meat. Sardinia is one of those areas. They eat pork. Some areas in Greece as well, and they eat all sorts of meat.

Basically, their diet comprises about 5% to 10% of unprocessed meat,

Quantity of food is the biggest factor when it comes to health. The less you eat, the more likely you are to remain healthy. Of course, your diet needs to be nutrient dense.
