Because no innovation on earth will save the planet. You clearly do not understand the extent of climate change.

You seem to think that it's all about 'going green.' That is only one of a few thousand issues.

For the record, neither solar panels nor electric cars are climate friendly. They pollute just as much - just in a different way.

Here's how we solve climate change.

1, Shut down all business that in any way either sells or manufactures anything that does so through a toxic process. That involves anything from blue jeans to solar panels. Probably half to 3/4 of business will need to close.

2. Ban the personal ownsership of cars. Implement a public transport model.

3. Change the economic system from for-profit to a resource based one.

4. Manufacture locally.

5. Implement UBI using people who don't work for the hard labour of cleaning up the earth.

6. Stop morons like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk from going into space. We don't need anymore pollution in space.

7. Switch to zeppelin like air tranports and bullet trains.

8. Build small homes that are massively insulated so that neither aircon nor central heating is required.

9. Relocate peiple living in flood plains and on the coast.

10. Switch off all city light at night.

And so on.

None of this will be profitable. It does not t involve innovation. We currently have all the tech we need.

If you cannot see this, then you do not understand exactly what is causing climate change and just how extensive climate change is. I would suggest you go and do a college course on it.
