Bbusiness that only pays its staff basic wage is the enemy. If business cannot afford to pay more, then they shouldn't be in business.
Also, there is no way that business should be unregulated. Business pours chemicals into water and makes it toxic. Business produces gas and puts excessive carbon into the air. Business produces denim that destroys river systems.
What humanity does not need is the idea that work is only there to make a profit for business owners. Business absolutely needs regulations.
For the record, my parents had an enormous ly successful business in the 40s, 50, and 60s. And then they got divorced and each had other businesses. They were regulated. They made money, as did every other business, despte being regulated. The EU has a greater gross national combined that the US. It's heavily regulated.
If the only way American business can make money is by not adhering to rules, then, sorry, they dont' deserve to be in business.
I fully understand that there are businesses that don't do all theses evil things, but regulations are necessary.
