At Hubpages, about 9 months to a year ago, income of writers suddenly dropped. Someone found an online publication to the shareholders, and it was said that profits for shareholders had increased, because pay to writers had been cut.

I don't know if something similar has happened on Medium, or whether there is a bug somewhere.
