As a dual European citizen/ South African citizen, I immigrated to your country in 2003. What a shock. It is so far behind Europe and UK in terms of freedom that I was shocked. It is also behind the UK in terms of technology. It is third world in terms of protecting its people and providing security.

I stayed 11 years and returned to Europe. I have no idea why Americans think that they have something worthwhile to stand for.
