Apartheid only refers to South Africa. There is no other system in the world that equated with Apartheid South Africa. By all means use the word 'segregation.'

That said, Israel does not even remotely have a system of apartheid or segregation. Gaza, the West Bank, etc. are not part of Israel. They are conquered territories and in no way part of Israel.

Gaza has been self-governing since 2006 (I think that was the date). Israel has no influence over it.

The fact that Israel built walls to separate Israel from Gaza is not an indication of segregation or apartheid. Trump wanted to build walls between Mexico and America.

However, that is not why Israel built the wall. At the time it built the wall, there were daily bombings/suicide martyrs in Jerusalem. It went on for years. It was a protective measure.

My point is that there is no apartheid in Israel, and there is no system of segregation in Israel. About 20% of Israelis are Muslim and they serve in the Israeli parliament - the Knesset.
