Another thought, and it goes with many things on this site. Some would advertise that they have had 50 million reads, etc. I've had a helluve lot more than that. Some would give you self-help advice that has been repeated a thousand times by other writers. I can bring in the totally unique (as per this article) based on real life observation , experience, and analysis. Some would tell you how to write when they have been aspiring to be a writer for three months. My magazine on how to write has been said to be the best on Medium.

I get annoysed because I would never dare to advise or teach others for the simple reason that I know that most of it wouldn't apply to a specific person. I won't set myself up as a teacher of others because i thinkt here's a sort of arrogance to that.
