And now I find what you write fascinating.

How is what I write a diary when I am a professional writer, earning a full time living from my writing? I’ve been published for 60 years. I am disabled, and writing is the only easy I thing I can do to earn. There are nearly 33,000 unique entries about me on the web if you google me.

With respect, I skipped through the information about you because I don’t’ see the relevance.

The English club has nothing to do with creative writing. When people write novels, they are not attempting to communicate with their readers. They are attempting to earn money through entertaining others. Sure, writing was primarily invented to convey information i.e. communicate, but it’s a bit of a stretch to think that all writing is primarily there to connect two people. I am not connected to the author of books because I read that author’s work.

People communicate with each on the web through writing. However, that is not the same thing as creative writing. And I assumed that you were talking about creative writing.
