And if the situation were reversed? Like say, you're not allowed to use most English words because that is white man's culture. Or maybe, you're not allowed to write, because the Arabs invented the alphabet. Or maybe you're not allowed to do this or that because someone Chinese or Indian or Jewish invented it?

I understand that when one has no status as a group, then one grabs on to anything in order to attempt to gain status. However, achieving status by demanding that people don't do this or that because it is being used by one's culture is ridiculous.
