And I hope that anyone who reads your comment picks up what I picked up — that you have a chip on your shoulder.

For what it is worth, I was born on the wrong side of every social divide, have Aperger’s Syndrome (autism), plus an auditory processing disorder, plus lived through the kind of chronic abuse that made several therapists tell me that people with my kind of background are generally dead by the time they are 25. That was in my late 50’s.

I will be 70 this year.

The article was written because several people pointed out that ugly people faceda lot of issues, and it was written with a lot of compassion.

So take your twisted comprehension and interpretation and fix yourself up.

Addendum: I've just checked your profile, and I'm right. You're bipolar. Has it ever occurred to you that your perspective is skewered by your mental illness?
