Americans are obsessed with self-imlrovement. They must have really shifty characters, don't you think.

Personally, I grew up with excellent ethics, as do many people I know. I don''t know what self-improvement has to do with anything other than it been a billion dollar industry playing on people's vanities and insecurities.

Could you please explain to me what self-improvement has to do with the content of my post?
