After all those comments, I have to tell you that I feel deeply for your loss. I cannot imagine putting in all that backbreaking work, and this is what it has come down to.

Unfortunately, I don't think the situation is going to get better. I seldom go out these days. I used to go sit at Starbucks and write. It won't happen anymore because I will not expose myself to both the existing pandemic and the coming ones.

My mother, my sister, my daughter, and myself have all been in the hospitality at some point in our lives. I think it's fair to say it was always one of the happiest periods.
