Actually, whole grains, even contain just as much starch as processed grains. Grains cause diabetes. Comparatively, they contain very few essential vitamins and minerals. Vegetables and fruit contain far more, and they don't contain the starch. Vegetables and fruit also contain far more vitamins and minerals.

Government should stop subsidizing grains and try subsidizing greens. People would be far healthier.
