Actually, the people failed the government. They voted in their self-interest - the boomers started it. After benefiting from welfare societies, they didn't want to foot the bill for taxes, so they introduced neoliberalism, and from them on, it's been down all the way.

Populism is a class war, and there absolutely should be a class war. The people who write about these things seem to have left the education behind.
