Absolutely! My architecture classes used to frustrate the hell out of me. I had an argument with one of my professors about something. I told him I wanted to know the science - not the opinion. His response was that architecture was all opinion. I didn't know what to say.

I didn't mention masonry for two reasons. The first is that we would soon run out of stone to build all the homes, and the second is that I've lived in them in Scotland. They can be very cold. :(

And we definitely need affordable housing. I also love your idea about the trampoline fabric. :)
