I'm not the type of person who promotes myself or my work. That's because anything I might say about myself might be mistaken or misinterpreted, and I don't like the comeback.
My politics have been progressive since 1966, and I've been an environmentalist since 1970. I think that benevolence is a survival mechanism, and I find it difficult to relate to people who do unethical things.
I have five different magazines:
At this point, I only write in the first one - Tessa's Weblog - pretty much daily. I write in Born to Write occasionally. However, if you want to learn about writing, I've been told it's the best magazine on writing on Medium. Some of my articles on writing have been used by Ivy League university professors on their creative writing courses. (Well, I was asked for permission to use them, anyway.)
Some will find me blunt to the point of rudeness. I apologize for that - it's probably best not to try to debate me. I have no interest in self-help, spirituality, conservative politics, libertarian economic systems, or articles on how to write.
For the record, I've held the 'Top Writer' tag for many different niches here. It is meaningless, so just ignore it. They come and go. I write according to my thoughts of the day, and those can vary considerably.
