A lot of things are called science today, but they are not science. Food science isn't science. Also, one has to read the actual abstracts which AI do and 98% of people don't.

There is something called falsification in science. Something is only accepted as fact when it has passed from hypothesis to theory, and then if the theory turns out to be wrong, that is the result of falsification.
