1. The Palestinians have been attacking Jews since the mid 18th century when they first arrived.

2. The 1948 war started because the Palestinians did not want the Jews to have the land. I understand that, but what do you suggest? What are you going to do with 8 million Israelis?

3. Up until the blockade went up, there were suicide attacks in Israel every single day, sometimes killing many Jews, other times just one or two. I guess Israel got tired of it.

4. Yes, it is a religious war. The fundamentalist Jews believe that God gave them Israel 3000 years ago, and that the land belongs to them. They want every inch of it, and they keep taking more and more. The fundamentalist Muslims believe that every single person who is not a Muslim should be killed. Suggest you study both Torah and the Koran. I have.

5. The Palestinians voted for Hamas because they were sick of the corruption of the other party. Most of them don't agree with the Hamas policy of completely eliminating Israel, but make no mistake, Hamas's goal is to eliminate Israel completely.

6. Israel is the more powerful because they are more educated, highly intelligent, and have the instinct of a people who have fought for their survival against incredible odds for 2000 years. They took a desert and started producing food from it. Per capita, they produce more innovation, invention, and scientific discovery than any other nation on earth.

7. There were peace negotiations going on with Saudi Arabia. Iran does not want that. The moment the Middle East becomes more secularized and more western, Islam (and the suppression of women) goes out the window. It is the beginning of the end.

8. You are reading the wrong newspapers if you think that there is no PR for Palestine in the western world. Every single liberal newspaper I read internationally supports Palestine. I find it difficult to read find anything else. Do you read the Guardian? Actually, do you read? Or do you watch American TV? If you watch American TV, maybe that is the problem.

9. I am fully aware of what is going on in Gaza and Israel. I'm half Jewish. My late father was a holocaust survivor. I am also a multi-national (spent 11 years living in the States, 40 years, in Africa, and the rest in various countries in the EU and the UK). I'm 72. I read American, British, European, African, Indian, and Chinese news sources. Have you read what Al-Jazeera (middle east newspaper is saying?) Did you notice that Al-Jazeera did not once mention that atrocities that Hamas is committing/
